The importance of pool safety fences
Swimming pools, whether filled and ready for the summer or empty during wintertime, can be very dangerous for small children and pets. Pool safety fences create a safer environment by placing a barrier between play areas and pools. Many communities require properties with inground pools to erect a fence of some type and some insurance policies will factor in the existence of a safety fence when calculating liability insurance rates. Besides preventing children and pets from wandering into the pool area, swimming pool fences can also keep uninvited guests from using the pool. Whether required or not, installing a child safety fence is always a responsible choice.
Removable swimming pool fences
Unfortunately, there can be disadvantages to erecting pool safety fences. For example, if a construction project requires equipment to be moved across the yard, the fence may be in the way. A fence can also be a real obstacle when moving outside furniture into position around pools for the summer or when bringing it in for winter storage. Baby Guard pool safety fences and pool barriers are removable, though. Being constructed on reinforced poles and sturdy mesh, they can be taken down and rolled up for storage. Although the time required to do this does depend on the amount of fencing, most pool fences can be taken down and stored in about 15 minutes.
The Baby Guard system allows you to have all of the benefits of a pool barrier without all of the inconvenience. When in place they are sturdy enough to resist wind and weather while protecting your pool from unwanted intrusions.
